Companion Planting

Companion Planting is the use of plants which help each other, repel bad insects, or attract useful insects to help your garden succeed.

Based on scientific research, as well as good ol' fashioned folklore, companion planting is both interesting and useful.

Some plants "antagonize" each other, such as onions and peas or beans. Others "love and help" each other, such as tomatoes and asparagus.

A basic reference is available, in a downloadable file.

Happy gardening,

GRANDPA
