This latest addition to their cutting-edge machinery further enhances PMF’s ability to accommodate heavy thickness of materials and complements their existing 1200 mm flowforming machine. The new hydraulic press boasts automated features that improve repeatability, resulting in quicker throughput times than its predecessor.

“This strategic investment opens new possibilities,” the news release said. “With the expanded capabilities, the company can now develop larger storage vessels for various transportation applications, like rocket motor casings. PMF has already successfully conducted flowforming trials for military support, showcasing its expertise in delivering high-quality components for critical applications. PMF estimates this expansion will generate up to 20 new positions, spanning roles such as CNC machinists, set-up technicians, and specialty machine technicians.
